Our team will be at the 2025 Jazz Educator’s Conference in Atlanta this coming January.
What is the JEN Conference?
The annual JEN (Jazz Educator’s Network) conference offers a variety of events, including sessions and clinics to fit every attendee’s jazz interest. If you want to learn more about jazz education, research, technology, jazz industry and music business, improvisation, composition, panel discussions, and more, we have a session for you!
You can attend the JENerations Jazz Festival, where you’ll see and hear schools and community ensembles and groups perform and receive instruction and feedback from some of the most well-known educators and artists in the business.
WHEN: January 8-11, 2025
WHERE: Atlanta, GA
Our Workshop
Anyone Can Book a Gig will be hosting an official workshop at the conference. Attendees can join us for around an hour of teaching our course content, outlining our offerings and platform goals, and taking questions from the audience.
The workshop, while educational, is not just for students. Other educators are welcome to attend to discuss how we can collaborate to bring our essential content to your students.
We have performed similar workshops in partnership with organizations like The Kennedy Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and many universities and conservatories.
We would love to partner with other educators to continue building networks for students.
Comment:
Hello, I’m thrilled to see that you’ll be hosting
a workshop at the Jazz Educator’s Conference in Atlanta next year!
I’m particularly interested in the “Anyone Can Book a Gig”
workshop. As a jazz educator myself, I’m always looking for ways
to help my students navigate the music industry and secure gigs.
Your platform seems like a valuable resource, and I’m eager to learn more about how we can collaborate to bring this essential
content to our students. I look forward to attending your workshop and potentially discussing further
opportunities for collaboration. Thank you for sharing this information.
Best,
Norine
