Katherine McVicker

Katherine McVicker is a veteran music agent with over 30 years of experience developing international touring careers for leading jazz, Americana, and world music artists. She played a key role in launching Norah Jones’ European touring career and has guided dozens of artists onto the global stage. In 2014, she founded the boutique agency Music Works International (MWI), which now books over 600 performances annually and represents more than 40 internationally acclaimed artists. During the 2020 lockdown, Katherine created Anyone Can Book a Gig, an online course designed to give musicians clear, practical tools to book shows and build sustainable careers at any stage.

With the year just begun, we created this 2026 Touring & Music Career Planner because we know how overwhelming it can be to juggle gigs, releases, promotion, and everything else that comes with a music career.

At Anyone Can Book a Gig, we help independent musicians build sustainable touring careers without needing an agent or industry connections.
